Abstract:
The purpose of the study is to find out the difference in cognitive styles undergraduate students in relation to their problem solving ability. The investigator has taken 300 male and female undergraduate students from Pulwama and Anantnag districts of J & K by using simple random sampling techniques. For collection of data the investigator has used Cognitive Style Inventory by Praveen Kumar and Problem Solving Ability Test by L. N. Dubey. The findings of the study revealed that there exists a significance difference and positive relationship between cognitive styles and problem solving abilities.
