Abstract:
Bangladesh is the land of diverse ethnic, religious and linguistic societies. Along with the mainstream people, there are about 46
different ethnic minority groups of people live here. Among the ethnic minorities, the Garo is one of the major tribal
communities. Ethnic people bring a diversification in life and society of Bangladesh. Socioeconomic and cultural diversities
along with their different living environment make indigenous people unique from mainstream population of the country. Their
uniqueness of these areas are the main causes of their lagging behind in education too. The present study revealed the challenges
