Assessing Reading Habits of B.Ed. Trainee Teachers

Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to investigate personal reading habits of trainee teachers, to find out are they a daily reader, reason for reading, time spend for reading, the language in which they like reading, the sources of reading materials and the material they likes to read. The study was carried out in twelve hundred B.Ed. trainee teachers randomly drawn from the colleges of Vidharbha region. In the study, questionnaire was developed and applied to all the trainee teachers.
