A Comparative Study of Job Satisfaction among Government and Private School Teachers

Abstract:

The main aim of the present study was to examine the Job satisfaction among government and private male teachers of senior secondary school. A sample of 60 male teachers (30 Government and 30 Private School Teachers) was drawn randomly from Ghaziabad proper. Job Satisfaction Scale by Dr. Amar Singh and Dr. T. R Sharma was used for data collection. Mean, standard division (S.D) and t-test were used for statistical analysis. Results indicate significant difference between Government and Private male school teachers in terms of their scores on job satisfaction.
