Abstract:
Schools across world had to close in response to the COVID-19 virus pandemic and move to online teaching. This paper
explores the views of teachers and parents/carers from educational institutes of Punjab gathered through survey and interviews.
It was found that inspite of technological glitches online schooling was well received by pupils and parents. There was more
autonomy, responsibility, collaboration and participation. Parents suggested that schools need to be innovative and make a few
changes in their existing academic plans for continuous qualitative education
